This subwoofer upgrade is for the 49L top case that is commonly equipped on the BMW K1600, R1200RT, & R1250RT
This particular package is made to be an add on to one of our Stage 1.5 or 2.5 packages, where you would use the rear outputs of the amplifier to run the subwoofer, instead of adding the rear speakers. The amplifier will deliver 250 watts to the single JL Audio 10W1v3-4 subwoofer.
Those that have our front speakers on a GT GTL or RT, but would like to gain the low frequencies missing from the smaller speakers, this is a great addition.
It docks into place using high powered magnets, and is easily removeable for re-gaining the space in the top case when you need it. We supply "port plugs" that will close off the opening so the inside of the case stays dry when it's removed.
We supply the hole saw and drill bit needed for installation, you just need a Philips head screwdriver and a drill for installation.
