Digital Media Source Unit

The AQ-MP-5BT-H is an AM/FM receiver with integrated Bluetooth audio streaming and dual auxiliary inputs. A large rotary volume control and well-spaced buttons make using the radio easy. The bright 3-inch display makes it easy to see radio station or song title information.

A2DP streaming handles Bluetooth device playback, and the source unit includes AVRCP control to let you change tracks and pause your music wirelessly. A shelf behind the removable face panel has connections for USB device charging and a 1/8-inch audio input jack for devices that don’t have Bluetooth.

Harley-Davidson Plug-n-Play Compatibility

The Aquatic AV AQ-MP-5BT-H plugs right into the factory radio harness on 98-2013 models. The integration includes retention of handlebar-mounted radio controls. 4 wire connections are necessary for models equipped with rear speakers. The front panel of the receiver features an IP55 rating, so getting caught in the rain won’t spell disaster for your radio. The unit also features 500-hour ASTM D4329 UV Exposure and ASTM B117 salt-fog exposure ratings.

System Power and Expansion Options

Aquatic AV has included a high-power amplifier that is rated to produce up to 45 watts per channel into a 4 ohm load. The radio can handle a 2 ohm load on each channel and increases the maximum power production to 72 watts in this configuration. A set of preamp outputs lets us connect an external amplifier for even better sound.
